Sardar Patel College of Engineering (SPCE) is the 5th oldest engineering college in India. It is ranked 201 for BTech by NIRF 2020. It is affiliated to the University of Mumbai.

College of Engineering Pune (CoEP) is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) and is approved by AICTE. It is also known as Pune University. It was ranked 19 overall by NIRF 2020. They have 718 affiliated colleges and research institutes.

Admission Requirements 

• Candidates should have 50% in their 10+2 qualifying exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
• Candidates opting for MTech should have 55% in their BTech or BE exam.
• Final selection will be based on the entrance exam.

• Out of 208 students 148 got placed from the BTech program in SPCE.
• Out of 718 students 571 received placement offers in CoEP.

CoEP

• The top recruiting companies for civil engineering include L&T, TCS, Power Grid Corporation, Land Transport Authority, Jacobs Engineering, Schlumberger, etc.

• The SPCE college has a Central Library with a collection of over 45,000 books, 9000 e-books and national and international journals.

CoEP

Mechanical engineering involves design, construction and use of machines. They gain the understanding and knowledge of heavy tools and machinery work.
