The probable CMC Vellore cutoff for NEET is around 625+ (general category). For students from SC/ST category, the required cutoff is around 535. For sponsored candidates, the required cutoff is lower. The required cutoff for sponsored category students stays around 550+. Generally, most sponsoring bodies have tough competition as well.

This depends on the fact that you are a Christian or not. If you are not an Christian then getting into CMC Vellore might be a bit difficult.

Here’s mentioning the cutoff and admission procedure step by step:

  • Keep in mind before applying to CMC that NEET is not important to them but you have to write the exam and get at least a 250+.
  • After that they will conduct an exam which is really difficult and you must score a 95% in order to qualify.
  • CMC consists of a total of 119 seats and they are separated among various quotas.
  • 1.89 seats for Christian students, 2.4-5 seats for Hindu students, 3.20 seats for the students whose parents are working in CMC as a doctor, nurse or physiotherapist. And rest of the seats belong to the NRI candidates.
  • After the qualification of your exam they will conduct 5 rounds of interviews.
  • They used to filter 80% in this interview and the rest are qualified for MBBS.
  • They give 70% preference in their exam and 30% in NEET exam.
Category Qualifying Score Qualifying Percentile
Unreserved 134-701 50%
Unreserved PH 120-133 45%
SC/ ST/ OBC 107-133 40%

Be prepared for the fact that if you are a Hindu candidate getting admission in CMC Vellore will be much tougher than usual.
