MBBS from Osmania Medical College

Osmania University Hyderabad cutoff for NEET is around 655+. If you are a general category student, try to score above 655, to get admission at Osmania University. The required cutoff usually increased each year based on competition.

Naturally, the required cut-off for reserved category students is comparably lower.

To score good marks in NEET for securing a seat in Osmania University, you need to be thorough with some of the topics in Physics like Heat, Electrostatic, and Magnetism, Optics, Mechanics, etc.

In Biology, make sure you go through the textbooks by NCERT. Revise the topics again and again. The MCQ books of NCERT can also be very helpful for preparation.

In the case of Chemistry, practice organic chemistry and the numerical portions. Be well versed with the concepts and exceptions of inorganic chemistry.

For analysis, you can try the Allen series of online tests. An effective way is:

  • Make a list of the areas where you are weak and devote the maximum time possible in those areas.
  • Practice around 5-10 or more questions related to physics. Try new questions every day.
  • Set aside time for areas where you are comfortable.
  • Study human and plant physiology in biology so that you can easily remember these topics before proceeding to plant anatomy and morphology.
  • Revise physical and organic portions in chemistry then move on to inorganic.
  • Get acquainted with the pattern of question papers of the earlier entrance exams and prepare a list of the topics you will leave out.

And lastly, in the last few days before the exams, solve the question papers during the duration of the entrance exam.
