For a B.Tech, BIT Sindri is better. Due to the higher cutoff, the student crowd is comparably better. BIT brand name is recognized on an international scale. Many reputed companies visit the campus placements. The recruiters' list includes names such as  TCS, Deloitte, Schlumberger, and Tata Steel. During BIT Sindri placements 2022, the highest CTC offered was INR 10.54 LPA.

KIIT offers better academics than VIT, Manipal, and SRM. But it can’t be compared to NITs like Surat, Jaipur, and Raipur. KIIT is an average technological institute at best. It has a decent placement record. KIIT Bhubaneswar placements 2022 had an average CTC of INR 6.05 LPA. If you are getting one of the NIT or any IIT, then you should choose that over KIIT. 

KIIT is one of the top ten private engineering schools in the country. Sharda, LPU, and Amity, on the other hand, are in a different league entirely, competing for being the worst. 

KIIT is an above-average college in the TIER-3 category, but it is far superior in every respect to these self-proclaimed "Best Institutes" that have extremely degraded in a lot of aspects.

Manipal University will be the better option. It offers good academics. For branches like CSE, IT, ECE, EEE, Mech, etc. MIT can be compared to some NITs. Admission to the institute is based on merit. So, the student crowd is decent. It has a decent placement record. The recent highlights of Manipal University Jaipur placements show an average CTC of INR 5.43 LPA. 

Overall, placements, academics, alumni base, and campus life makes MIT one of the best private universities in the country.
