Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is a national-level management entrance examination conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur, on the behalf of XLRI for the candidate's admission into MBA/PGDM programmes. The XAT score is valid for admissions in more than 160 institutes.

XAT 2021 Exam: Selection Criteria
XLRI, Jamshedpur will select the candidates through the XAT scores in 3 stages, which are as follows,
- Shortlisted candidates
- Group discussions & Personal interview
- Final Selection
There are no Centralized Selection criteria for the XAT Exam. If a candidate wishes to apply for various programmes, then he may be called for multiple interviews/group discussions. The selection criteria vary for each MBA/PGDM programme depending upon its nature. Apart from the interview round, the Final Selection List will be prepared based on the scores obtained by the candidates in the XAT exam, relevant work experience, academic qualifications, and extracurricular activities.

XAT 2021 Exam: Application Process & How to Apply?
To apply for the MBA/PGDM programmes offered by XLRI, Jamshedpur. Candidates can follow the step-by-step process provided below.
- Visit the official XLRI Jamshedpur - XAT website @ xatonline.in
- Navigate to the latest updates tab and click on the link to the XAT 2021 application form
- Go through the terms mentioned and if you meet the requisite eligibility criteria, then click on the download link of the XAT 2021 application form
- After downloading the form, you can proceed to fill it
- Fill in the personal details, academic details, and other information as asked on the application form
- Then, scan and upload the photograph and signature as specified in the guidelines
- Before the final submission, preview all the details and verify it
- Select your XLRI programme preferences if you wish to study in XLRI (through XAT or GMAT)
- choose your test center around your residence
- Later, submit the application form by paying the application fee
- Download it and take a print out of the same for further reference
Candidates must note that applicants’ details will not be modified/updated later. Also, candidates can choose any 2 test centers, however, the exam conducting authority will finally allot a test center.

XAT 2021 Admit Card: How to Download?
XLRI has decided to conduct the XAT 2021 Exam on January 3, 2020. For which the admit cards will be released on December 20, 2020 one. Candidates appearing for the said-exam must download their exam admit card by visiting the official website. It is mandatory for all the candidates to preserve their admit cards till the end of admission process.
Here's how you can download the XAT 2021 Exam Admit Card.
- Visit the official XAT 2021 site
- Click on the login link available on the homepage
- On the login page, key in your XAT Registration/User ID and password/ Date of Birth
- XAT 2021 Exam admit card will appear on the screen
- Preview all the details and download the admit card and take a print out of the same for exam use
Candidates are required to notify the exam authorities if they find any discrepancies on the exam admit card.
