West Bengal Announces Madhyamik, Class 12 exam dates; Read More Here


The West Bengal state board announced today that the WBCHSE exams 2021 will be conducted in the last week of July while the WB Madhyamik exams 2021 will likely be conducted in the second week of August,2021 for the home centres. 

The examinations are scheduled to be conducted over a time period of 8 days. The time duration of exams have been reduced to 1.5 hours ( 90 minutes) from the usual 3 hour format. 

West Bengal Class 12 Application Process

The Board has announced it will be considering 3 options for WB HSC 2021. The format of the exam has been changed as such it will have shorter duration exams, holding paper once the pandemic subsides or take-home exams.

Moreover, the students will be appearing for the major subjects only that too in the same schools where students are enrolled instead of the external centres. The other subjects will be evaluated on the basis of internal assessment.As many as 12 lakh Class 10th and 8.5 lakh Class 12th students will be appearing in the upcoming WB board examinations.

Earlier,the board had postponed the WB Madhyamik as well as WB class 12 exams amid the surge in COVID cases across the state.

The state board is expected to release the routine (schedule) for WB Madhyamik as well as WBCHSE exams 2021 soon. After the official release, students will be able to check and download it from the official website of WB state board.
