VKNRL School of Nursing, Numaligarh, Assam has invited applications for admission to the three-year General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course for the academic year 2021-22. 

As a part of its skill development initiative for women under Corporate social responsibility, the VKNRL School of Nursing has decided to offer the three-year GNM course for the academic session 2021-22. The institute will intake a total of 40 students per session. 

The institute has started the application process for admission to its GNM course from October 25, 2021, and it will continue till November 7, 2021. 

All the interested female candidates can check the eligibility criteria of the General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course and apply online by visiting the official VKNRL website @vknrlnursingschool.edu.in.

Candidates should fill the application form carefully by going through the detailed instructions available on the website. It should be noted that the candidates will not be able to submit the application form after the deadline.

VKNRL School of Nursing Admission 2021-22: Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates interested to apply for admissions to the three-year GNM course must fulfill following eligibility criteria: 

• Applicants must be female candidate
• Applicants must be a Indian citizen 
• Applicants must be within the age limit of 17 to 35 years as on 31st December 2021.
• Applicants must be medically fit 

Educational Qualification:

• Applicants must have passed 10+2 with English as a main subject from any recognized board. They should've obtained at least 40% in the qualifying examination 
• Applicants can also be from State Open School recognized by the State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by the Central Government. However Science is preferable.
• Applicants must have completed 10+2 with English with a minimum of 40% marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing council.
• Applicants must have passed 10+2 with English having at least 40% of marks in Vocational Stream-Health care Science from a recognized CBSE board/Centre.
• Applicants should have a registered ANM with a pass mark.

Interested candidates can go through the following steps to apply for VKNRL School of Nursing Admission 2021-22. 

Step 1: Visit the official VKNRL website 

Step 2: On the homepage, search for the admission page and Click on the "Online Application" and complete the registration process.

Step 3: Click on "Online Application" Link and Login. 

Step 4: Fill in the all personal, educational details and upload the necessary documents as prescribed 

Step 5: Pay the requisite application fee and hit the submit button. Further, take a print out of the application for future reference. 

Candidates should pay a non – refundable fee of INR 100 (Rupees Hundred only) to submit the application form. 

VKNRL School Of Nursing Admission 2021-22: Selection Process 

The VKNRL School of Nursing will select the candidates for admission into the three year GNM course by conducting an entrance exam. Candidates will have to secure a minimum of 30/100 as a qualifying mark in the entrance exam. However, candidates scoring less or below 30% will be considered a failure and their candidature will be rejected.

Further, the shortlisted candidates will have to undergo a medical examination by a medical board consisting of Doctors/faculty members of the institute in order to get selected for the GNM program.
