VITEEE 2021: Online Registration Open, JEE/SAT Introduced as Eligibility Criteria; Check Details Here

December 04, 2020: Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT University) is inviting applicants for admission to its B.Tech course through VITEEE 2021. As per the institute’s new clause for Admission 2021, JEE Main or SAT examination scores will be included as one of the eligibility criteria.

Candidates seeking admission to B.Tech course at VIT University can register by filling the VITEEE 2021 application form available at varsity’s official website: vit.ac.in.

Candidates having JEE Mains or SAT scores are also directed to upload their scorecards along with mandatory documents as per eligibility criteria set for VITEEE 2021.

VITEEE 2021: How to Apply Online?

Candidates who wish to seek admission to B.Tech course at VIT University can fill their application forms by following the given below instructions:

Step 1: Visit the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT University) official website: vit.ac.in

Step 2: Click on the “VITEEE 2021 / B.Tech Admission 2021” link available on the homepage.

Step 3: On the next window, enter the necessary details such as name, address, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID, and click on register.

Step 4: Pay the registration fee through online modes. Once registered, a user Id and password will be sent to the registered email id and phone number.

Step 5: Now, Login using your email id and password.

Step 6: On the next screen, VITEEE 2021 application form will be displayed on the screen.

Step 7: Fill in all the educational qualification details. Upload the important documents as prescribed in the form.

Step 8: Verify the details and click on Submit.

Note: VIT authorities will soon be providing a facility to fill VITEEE Admission 2021 application form in offline mode, probably in January 2021. The dates will be decided once schools and colleges start functioning again.

Moreover, the VITEEE Admission 2021 new clause created speculations among candidates that VIT Indore will be considering JEE Main or SAT scores for admission in the new academic session. Or else, some weightage will be given to such candidates who have appeared for these entrance exams.

An official of VIT University clarified the doubt stating that the institute will only consider JEE Main or SAT scores if VITEEE 2021 gets cancelled due to prevailing COVID-19 conditions.

He further added, “Appearing in VITEEE 2021 is mandatory. The option for uploading JEE Main/SAT scorecard has only been provided to be ready in case of unexpected conditions.”
