The UP scholarship is one of the biggest state scholarships run by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. This state scholarship provides financial assistance to the students of the courses like higher secondary classes (9-12), Graduation and Diploma courses. Uttar Pradesh Scholarship 2021: How to Apply?
The candidates must apply through the online mode of the Uttar Pradesh government scholarship portal.
Step 1: New Student Registration
- Candidates must visit the official website – scholarship.up.nic.in.
- Then click on “Student” and select “Registration” from the drop-down menu.
- Choose the scheme
- Fill in the application form with all personal and educational details.
- Click on “Submit”.
- Now take the printout of the registration page.
Step 2: Student Login
- Log in with the login credentials provided at the time of registration
- If candidates are fresh applicant, then click on ‘Fresh Applicant’, if the candidates are willing to renew the Sarkari scholarship, click on ‘Renewal’
- Then click on the ‘Proceed’ button
Step 3: Filling UP Scholarship Application Form
- Fill in the application form of the scholarship with all the relevant details.
- Then click on “Submit”.
Step 4: Uploading Documents
- Uploading the scanned copies of the documents is a must. The scanned copies must be uploaded as per the prescribed format.
- All the documents must be valid (must not be expired)
Step 5: Final Submission
- Then candidates must preview the filled in the application form of the scholarship
- Lastly, submit the application form by clicking on “Submit”.

- The students must be of SC/ST/General category

- Applicants must be of class 11 and 12 fr applying for this scholarship.

- The Applicant must be from Under graduation/ post graduation/ Ph. D or higher-level courses
- The annual income of the general candidates must not exceed INR 2 Lakh
- The annual income of the SC/ ST candidates must not exceed INR 2.5 Lakh.
UP Post-Matric Other State Scholarship For ST, SC, General Category Students
- The candidates must be in class 11 or above to apply for this scholarship.
- The annual income of the general candidates must not exceed INR 2 Lakh.
- The annual income of the SC/ ST candidates must not exceed INR 2.5 Lakh.
UP Pre-Matric Scholarship For Minorities
- The applicant of this scholarship must be from the minority community, and must be studying in class 9 or 10.
- The annual income of the applicant's family must not exceed INR 1 Lakh.
UP Post-Matric (Other Than Intermediate) Scholarship For Minorities
- Candidates of minorities community pursuing their studies in graduation, post graduation, Ph. D or higher-level education are eligible for this scholarship.
- The annual income of the applicant's family must not exceed INR 2 Lakh.
UP Post Matric Intermediate Scholarship For Minorities
- Candidates of minority communities studying in class 11 and 12 are eligible for the scholarship.
