The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP), Uttar Pradesh has released the date sheet for the class 12 exam. As per the released date sheet, the intermediate exam will be held in two phases - the first phase on February 3 and the second on February 13.
UPSMP will conduct the first phase exam from February 3 to 12 at exam centres in Agra, Saharanpur, Bareilly, Lucknow, Jhansi, Chitrakoot, Faizabad, Mirzapur, Devipatan and Basti zones, while the second phase from February 13 to 22 at exam centres in Aligarh, Meerut, Muradabad, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Azamgarh and Gorakhpur districts.

According to the official records, UP Board will see more than 50 lakh students taking the exam across the state. The first pre-board examination for high school and intermediate students in the district will take place from January 15, 2021, to January 25, 2021. As per reports, In 2020 a total of 24.96 lakh students appeared in the intermediate exam.
The second pre-board is scheduled from March 1, 2021, to March 10, 2021, as per the order released by Mukesh Kumar Singh, district inspector of schools (DIoS), Lucknow.
Note: In order, to pass the board exams, students need to score at least 35 per cent marks in each subject individually as well as overall.
Earlier, Deputy chief minister Dinesh Sharma informed that the syllabus of UP board has been reduced by 30% for classes 9 to 12, in absence of physical classroom teaching, due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic.
