Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has announced that more than 56 lakh students have registered for the UP Board Examination 2021 for Classes 10 and 12.

A total of 56,03,813 students have enrolled for UP Board examination 2021 which incorporates 29,94,312 for secondary school (Class 10) and 26,09,501 intermediates (Class 12).
The application process for the UP board exam 2021 was concluded on January 5, 2021. The examination board will release the schedule of the examination on their official website @upmsp.edu.in.
The UP Board Examination 2021 is expected to be conducted in April - May, 2021. Of the total 29.94 lakh students who have registered for the UP Board Class 10 Examination 2021, 16,74,022 students are boys and 13,20,290 students are girls.

In comparison with the female applicants, the quantity of male students enrolled for the UP Board Class 12 examination 2021 is higher.
Out of the 26 lakh students who have registered for the UP Board Class 12 examination 2021, 14,73,771 students are boys and 11,35,730 students are girls enrolled.
This year, there is a slight decline in the number of registrations in comparison to the previous year. In 2020, a total of 30,24,480 students' enrolled for secondary school, out of which, 27,72,656 students showed up for examination. For intermediate, 25,86,339 registered and 24,84,479 showed up for the examination.
