The state government of Uttar Pradesh has announced that girl students will be allotted exam centers within a 5 KM radius from their schools for the UP Board Exam 2021.
The Uttar Pradesh State Government stated that if the girl students weren't allotted their schools as exam centers, it is mandatory to allot exam centers within a 5 KM radius.
The government has also stated that boys will not be allotted exam centers at girls' schools for the UP Board Examination 2021.
Aaradhana Shukla said that when the government has launched the Mission Shakti for the security of women, they have decided to help the girl students by allotting them exam centers which will be near their schools.
Aaradhana Shukla, the chief secretary of Secondary Education also stated that the option of choosing self-centers will be provided to differently-abled candidates.

The secondary education department has also released the guidelines for the allocation of exam centers for UP Board Examination 2021 for classes 10 and 12.
Alterations were made in the number of students appearing for UP Board Examination 2021 in an exam center because of the COVID 19 protocols.
The minimum number of students appearing in a day at an exam center is reduced to 150 students from 300 students.
The maximum number of students appearing in a day at an exam center for UP Board Exam 2021 was 1200 previously which was now reduced to 800 students.
