Union Education Minister Attends 9th Convocation Ceremony of IIT Bhubaneswar, Check Details Here


Union Education Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal attended the 9th convocation ceremony organized by IIT Bhubaneswar via video conference as chief guest on December 4, 2020.

Pokhriyal congratulated all the graduating students and their parents in the ceremony and encouraged them to achieve their goals. The education minister also complimented IIT Bhubaneswar for its excellent teaching, research aura and outstanding wellness.

The Director of IIT was also congratulated with his team for establishing the online global classes during the pandemic situation. The Institute has set a role model in India which is a proud moment for the nation.

The Education Minister also inaugurated the Student Activity Centre (SAC), the play courts and the school of humanities, Social Sciences and Management (SHSSM) of IIT Bhubaneswar in the convocation ceremony. He further said the execution of NEP 2020 is a long way to travel in the Indian education system but needs to be followed for holistic and multidisciplinary education.

Minister for state education, Sanjay Dhotre also congratulated the students' work in research and innovation completed in the pandemic situation. He also commended on the overall development of students' performance of the institute during the course of the program.
