University Grants Commission(UGC) has extended the deadline for admission to Open and Distance Learning (ODL) courses and Online Courses till December 31, 2020.
Admission to ODL and Online courses for the September - October 2020-21 academic session was scheduled to be concluded on November 30, 2020. The last day of admission was not extended till December 31, 2020.

Official Notification Released by UGC
All the higher education institutions offering ODL and online courses were asked to upload the dates of admission to the UGC Distance Education Bureau (DEB) by January 15, 2021.
UGC has also requested those higher education institutions to ensure that the below-mentioned regulations are being followed while providing admission to ODL and online courses.
The regulations that are needed to be followed are:
- UGC (Open and Distance Learning Programmes and Online Programmes) Regulations, 2020
- UGC notification on the specification of degrees, 2014
- Other relevant regulations of the UGC or other regulatory authorities
