According to the latest update, the government has decided to declare all the students all pass and not give any marks or grades.
It has been notified by one of the officials that the TN class 10th results 2021 Marksheet will have only ‘pass’ printed and it will not have any marks or grades.
Even the class 11th and polytechnic admissions will be done based on the marks secured by the students in the class 9th examination. Further, the director of government examinations has decided to only print ‘all pass’ on the mark sheet.
As the Tamil Nadu State Board has not conducted any board exams this year, this is the reason behind not giving any marks in the TN SSLC Results 2021 Marksheet. Owing to the Covid-19 pandemic, mostly the schools were closed throughout the year.

The TN board did not get any chance to conduct half-yearly or class tests. As a result of which the TN board has taken this decision. Now, the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu is likely to release the class 10th result 2021 soon.
Almost 9 lakh students across TN are eagerly waiting for the class 10th results and mark sheets to be released. Meanwhile, the class 10th results 2021 will be announced only in online mode. Students can visit the official TN state board website @tamilnadustateboard.org and check their results. The higher authorities will soon release the date and time for the announcement of the class 10th results 2021.

Admission to Higher Classes
According to the media reports, the school will issue a leaving certificate mentioning class 9th marks on the basis of which students can take admissions for class 11 or polytechnic. Even the school principals have welcomed the decision and they have stated that they could provide admissions to their school students. But for the outside students, they can consider class 9 marks.
Earlier, the Tamil Nadu government has cancelled the TN class 10th exams 2021. The decision has been taken owing to the surge in the number of COVID-19 cases. The TN government took the decision to cancel the TN SSLC exams 2021 by following the footsteps of the CBSE, who announced the cancellation of class 10th exams.
