TN College Admissions 2021: Tamil Nadu Minister for Higher Education, K. Ponmudi has declared that the TN College Admissions 2021 in the various government/aided/private colleges in states will start only after July 31, 2021.
As per the Tamil Nadu Higher Education Minister’s statement, the admission for various programs in the states will start only after the declaration of the CBSE 12th Result 2021 and the TN 12th Exam 2021 result for all students.
He further added despite the announcement made reading the admissions process, many private colleges have already started the commencement of TN College Admissions 2021. The government will now take strict actions against those colleges/institutes, he further added.
Earlier, with the cancellation of the CBSE Class 12th Exam 2021, the supreme court has directed the Central Board of Secondary Education to evaluate and release the result for students latest by July 31, 2021, on the board's official website.
As per the Education Minister's official statement, "We have to take into account the results of the CBSE students”.
“The Chief Minister has announced the methodology for calculating Class 12th marks and this process would be finalized by July 31. Only after that, the colleges may start the admission process" he added.
Tamil Nadu Minister for Higher Education, K. Ponmudi further added that the TN College Admission 2021 will only begin after August 01, 2021, for all students in the states.
However, for TN Polytechnic College Admission 2021, the admission process can now begin since they are not done on the basis of TN Class 12th Result 2021. After the announcement, many polytechnic institutes have already begun the admission process for various courses.
As per the TN Board Class 12th Result 2021 Evaluation Criteria released, the marks of the students will be evaluated based on the student’s marks in class 10th, 11th, and 12th examination.
For result evaluation, 50 percent marks will be carried out from TN Board Class 10th Exam 2021, 20 percent will be evaluated based on Class 11th marks of the students.
Additionally, the remaining 30 percent marks will be evaluated based on students’ Class 12th scores in internal assessments, and practical examinations.
