Tezpur University's Online Course Ranked as One of the "Best Online Courses of All Time", Read Details Here

Tezpur University has been ranked for one of the "Best Online Courses of All Time" by Classcentral.com for its course Direct Tax Laws and Practice. 

Professor Subhrangshu Sekhar Sarkar of Tezpur University has designed the online course. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The online courses are provided via a massive open online course (MOOC) platforms. 

While preparing the list of "Best Online Courses of All Time", students’ feedback is given greater importance.

This course is available globally through the SWAYAM platform, which facilitates all the courses to be taught from Class 9 to Post-Graduation and can be easily accessed by everyone. Students could access online courses from anywhere around the globe at any preferred time. 

According to the official data, over 5,000 learners enrolled in each of the semesters, in the last three consecutive semesters. A total of 18 courses are available under the 'Social Sciences' category on the SWAYAM platform.

Furthermore, various top universities of the world, including Princeton University, Harvard University, Kellog School of Management, Yale University provide courses as a part of the social science category.

Meanwhile, the classes for next semester will commence on January 4, 2021. Any student seeking undergraduate or postgraduate courses or any other professional can enroll for the course by visiting the official website of SWAYAM, i.e., www.swayam.gov.in. 

Once the course gets completed, the candidates would receive a certificate and a credit transfer.
