Telangana SSC Exam 2021: Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) is likely to reduce the total number of exam papers for SSC Exam 2021 to just six only.
Earlier, TSBIE had 11 papers on which SSC exams were held. However, in view of a pandemic crisis, the board is mulling to reduce syllabus. TSBIE had sent a proposal to the state government. On receiving approval, the decision will be officially notified.
This year, more than 5 lakh students are expected to take the Telangana SSC Exam 2021. The board has decided to leave a gap of 1 day before each exam and at least 2 days before tough subjects like mathematics. However, exam duration will remain the same. The aim is to reduce students’ gatherings in these times.
Speaking on this, General Secretary of United Teachers Federation (Telangana), Chava Ravi asserted, “The reduction in exam papers would mean cutting down the syllabus and the number of questions and choices will also be reduced.”
Besides, General Secretary of Government Teachers Association-Telangana, M Veerachary, considers this proposal as ‘excellent’. He said, “Going by the proposal of six papers, students should be given a gap of one day between two examinations, and for tough exams like Mathematics, a gap of two days. This proposal will also reduce the burden on the government in terms of logistics and evaluation work etc.”
Teachers, Parents Urge Govt to Release Board Exam Datesheet

Previously, the state government decided on 120 days of classwork starting from the first week of December, which could not be materialised.
