TBSE Class 10th, 12th Exam 2021 Cancelled Results by July 31


Tripura Government has announced the cancellation of TBSE Classes 10th & 12th board exams. Read the article to get the latest information.

Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE), has cancelled board examinations for both classes 10th and 12th. The decision has been made due to the increase in the number of COVID cases in the state during recent months. Education Minister of Tripura Government, Ratan Nath, made the announcement in an official statement. 

"Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) and the department have decided to cancel Class 10 and 12 exam 2021 due to the rise in the Covid-19 situation. Marks would be assigned to them based on the suggestions of an expert committee. The candidates will get their results on July 31.”

TBSE to Release Evaluation Scheme for Classes 10th, 12th

The Education Minister further announced on June 21, of setting up an expert committee. The committee will be responsible for presenting an evaluation scheme for Class 10th and 12th, for timely announcement of results on July 31. 

Further, the students who are not satisfied with their results will have the opportunity to appear for the exams after the current situation improves. 

TBSE joins the list of other state boards who have cancelled Board Exams for 2021 in wake of the second wave of COVID-19. Recently, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the cancellation of CBSE Class 12 Exam 2021 due to the pandemic, and was followed by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE).

The decision was taken keeping in mind the health and safety of the 73,818 students currently enrolled with the board for these classes. The government had earlier, postponed pre-board examinations in April and cancelled all UG and PG examinations in the State in both private and government universities.

Later, a decision was announced scheduling the TBSE board examinations for May 18. This decision was met by concerns from both parents and students alike. Following which, examinations were postponed until the situation in the state improved.

Tripura Government had also announced the closure of all government, semi-funded and private schools for classes 3-11, postponing all the annual exams.
