Tamil Nadu Class 12th Result 2021: Tamil Nadu Government has recently released the evaluation criteria for class 12th result preparation in the states. The result is now expected to be prepared and released on July 31, 2021, for all students to check.
As per the Tamil Nadu Class 12th Result 2021 evaluation criteria released, the result for class 12th students will be prepared based on their marks secured in class 10th, 11th, and class 12th examination.
In accordance with the result evaluation criteria released for Tamil Nadu Class 12th Result 2021 preparation, the following will be considered:
- The maximum weightage, 50% will be given to Tamil Nadu Class 10th Result 2021 scores of the students.
- The remaining 20% marks will be awarded to students based on class 11th scores.
- 30% marks will be awarded to students on the basis of class 12th practical examination, and internal scores.
- For class 12th weightage, out of 30%, 20% will be evaluated based on students’ practical examination scores, and the remaining 10% will be awarded based on the internal examination scores of the students.

If students did not appear for their Tamil Nadu Board Class 12th Practical Exam 202 due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, their class 11th practical examination marks will be taken into consideration.
Additionally, for those who failed to appear for both class 12th, and class 11th practical examination due to whatever reason, their written examination marks in class 10th, and class 11th will be taken into consideration.
Referring to the same, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin stated that while preparing the Tamil Nadu Class 12th Result 2021 Evaluation Criteria, suggestions by School Education and Higher Education Department principal secretaries were considered.
Additionally, suggestions were also offered by the Vice-Chancellor of the Madras University, Higher Secondary School principals, and other experts for result evaluation criteria preparation.
For students who could not appear for any examination due to the pandemic situation in the country, they will be offered an opportunity to appear for the examination as a private candidate.
The Tamil Nadu Class 12th Result 2021 will be released by July 2021 end for all students to check and download on the board's official website. Students who are not satisfied with their results will have the option to appear for a written examination.
The written examination for those students will be conducted after the revaluation of the Covid-19 pandemic situation. The scores of students in the written examination will be considered as final.
