Students of Punjabi University Confused about Exam Pattern due to Handwritten Approach of University


As per recent updates, students from Punjabi University are facing some issues about their examination due to lack of information . 

Since Punjabi University has given an old paper to students, students are confused about how they prepare for the exam. 

Another issue is that in some courses, University gives a hand written exam pattern instead of computerised copy.

Due to the hand written copies, several students don't understand some words written in it and face some difficulties . 

Punjabi University mentioned the paper timing as 3 hours in their exam pattern but as per the UGC’s exam pattern, the exam will be of 2 hours only. 

Due to the type of copy and hand written paper issued, students are not able to understand the questions properly.

The paper contains their 100 percent syllabus despite UGC guidelines stating that the question paper will be asked from 50 percent of syllabus . 

Students of Punjabi University said that the University has collected INR 2000 rupees as their examination fees from each student. There are more than 2 lakh students studying in Punjabi University in more than 17 different courses . 

The staff of Punjabi University said that the University would not make a payment for the answer sheet checking Process to their staff . 

University officials also expressed that the examination fees vary for different courses. It is for the complete process including paper setting and paper checking.

In addition, some exam papers seem to be previously devised as the exam papers were set earlier than per syllabus.
