SRCC NEO 2021: Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), Delhi University is now inviting interested applicants to apply for the nationwide school-level economics olympiad, called NEO 2021 on its official website at https://www.srcc.edu/.
Students of class 11th and 12th who are interested in Shri Ram College of Commerce’s NEO 2021 can now apply for the same by submitting their applications in the required format, along with an application fee of INR 200/- before October 15, 2021
To encourage students to participate in the olympiad, the SRCC has started an early bird offer, through which students can register for NEP 2021 by paying an application of INR 189 instead of INR 200. The offer is only valid till September 25, 2021, for all students.
As per the statement made by Shri Ram College of Commerce, the student who will secure the top three rankings will be offered with awards cumulative cash scholarships worth Rs 65,000. While all students who have participated in the olympiad will receive participation certificates.
National Economics Olympiad (NEO) 2021will be conducted by SRCC and Vedantu in two stages. The first stage of the olympiad is scheduled to commence on October 17, 2021, while the second will be held on October 24, 2021.
During the first stage, participants will be asked to appear for the preliminary round. The round will include four sections, namely; economic concepts, logical reasoning, case studies, and data interpretation. Each question will carry one mark, and no negative marking will be done.

Candidates who qualify for the first round will be eligible to appear for the second round. The second round will be conducted as a surprise test and information regarding the same will be shared with students only during the exam commencement.
With this initiative, the Shri Ram College of Commerce aims to provide better opportunities to students irrespective of their backgrounds by offering them 100 percent financial aid.
"Through this olympiad, we hope that students will get a chance to test their acumen and broaden their understanding of economics in terms of its application in the real world," SRCC officials said.
