Unipune Releases Revised Marksheets for About 6000 Students


Savitribai Phule Pune University has released the revised mark sheets for around 6000 students on December 3, 2020.

SPPU has released the Marksheets for a total of 18,000 students, out of which over 10,000 students did not log in to the portal to take the examination.

Around 8,000 cases were being verified because those students have appeared for the examination but were marked absent or awarded zero.

The director of examination and evaluation at SPPU, Mahesh Kakade stated that around 6,000 revised mark sheets were released but some of them might not have any changes. He also stated that he will be providing a detailed report on December 5, 2020 (tomorrow).

SPPU has decided to conduct the backlog examination in online mode for the first time for over 1.5 lakh students.

The students of SPPU were provided an opportunity to take up a mock test from December 3, 2020. Kakade announced that over 45,500 students have attempted the mock test online on December 3.

SPPU Backlog Examination: Guidelines to be Followed

Kakade mentioned the guidelines that need to be followed by the students of SPPU while attending the online backlog examinations. Candidates could check the following section for the guidelines:

  • The front camera of the mobile or laptop should be kept on throughout the examination.
  • Access to open other websites would be strictly restricted
  • Students will be provided a maximum of 20 warnings

Kakade stated since it is the first time for the backlog exams to be conducted in online mode, these guidelines would fit.

The university administration has mailed against the decision of conducting a proctored examination but Kakade clearly stated that there is no question of revising the decision and confirms that the backlog examinations will be conducted online.
