Siemens Scholarship 2021: Financial Assistance to 1st Year Government Engineering College Students; Apply Before Feb 15


Siemens Scholarship Program 2021 has come up with the initiative of providing financial aid to meritorious first-year Engineering students of Government Engineering College.

Interested first-year candidates from the Government Engineering Colleges can apply for the Siemens Scholarship Program 2021 on or before February 15, 2021.

Through this scholarship program, Siemens will provide financial assistance to deserving meritorious students to motivate them. The internships, mechatronics, soft skills training, projects and mentorships provided by the company will be covered by the scholarship.

According to the statement released by Siemens, 735 students from 77 government engineering colleges across 23 states in India have been part of the Siemens Scholarship Program as of 2020.

Siemens Scholarship 2021: Eligibility Criteria

The scholarship program follows a systematic selection process and is available for students throughout the four years of graduation. Additionally, 50% of scholarships are reserved for girls. First-year students of government engineering colleges from the following streams can apply:

  • Electrical engineering
  • Electronics engineering
  • Mechanical or production engineering
  • Instrumentation engineering
  • Electronics and telecommunication engineering
  • Computer science or information technology

Candidates can check the following section to know the eligibility criteria to apply for the Siemens Scholarship Program 2021.

  • Applicants cannot be over 20 years of age.
  • Candidates should have obtained a minimum of 60% aggregate in SSC, a minimum of 50% aggregate and a minimum of 60% in PCM aggregate in HSC or equivalent result.
  • The annual family income of applicants should not be more than Rs 2 lakhs.

The annual Siemens scholarship comprises reimbursement of tuition fees, allowances for books, stationery, hostel, additional classes, and so on.
