States across the country have finally decided to resume normal classes in the schools from January 2021 after being shut down for almost 9 months.
Since the outbreak of the covid-19 pandemic and imposition of lockdown from March 2020, the educational institutions across India have been shut down for nearly 9 months now. These institutions were ordered to be closed to protect the students from spreading infections.
With the Coronavirus still being contagious, the Ministry of Home Affairs has permitted the schools to gradually reopen by following necessary covid-19 protocols as per the discretion of the respective state governments.
After reviewing the Covid-19 circumstances in the districts, many state governments across the country have already given a nod to resume the schools in their jurisdiction from January 2021 onwards.
It has also been notified that these schools will commence only for the students of class 9 to 12 since they may have the most academic pressure as they've to appear for the board exams that may take place in mid of the year 2020-21.
