The Supreme Court of India has officially asked the state boards to finalize their evaluation criteria for class 10th and 12th students within 10 days and declare the results based on the special criteria by July 31, 2021.
The announcement of these directives came as several state boards across India, who have cancelled the Class 12 Board Exams 2021 are yet to notify the evaluation criteria based on which they plan to assess students performance after the cancellation of exam owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The order came in while the SC was hearing a plea seeking cancelation of all state board exams and a uniform assessment policy for all state boards across India.
