After CBSE, the ICSE Board also revised its syllabus for the same reason. The reduced syllabus will also have an impact on the PSEB Board of Exams 2021.

According to two officials who are familiar with the committee's proceedings, the panel comprising the subject experts of PSEB and SCERT follows the pattern of CBSE syllabus reduction by 30%. One of them said, "The topics to be removed from the syllabus have been selected for a number of subjects, but some work remains to be done,"

PSEB has uploaded to its official website: pseb.ac.in, lists of reduced syllabus topics of several subjects for secondary and senior secondary classes.
