July 28, 2021: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing the nation through a virtual event on July 29, 2021, at 4:30 pm on the occasion of completing one year of National Education Policy 2020.

During the virtual event, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will also join the event along with the Prime Minister. The virtual event will include sharing the steps regarding the implementation of the National Education Policy 2020 in the coming months.
In his recent tweet, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan wrote "The NEP, 2020, is a guiding philosophy for changing the learning landscape, making education holistic and for building strong foundations for an Aatmanirbhar Bharat”.
“On 29th July, on the completion of one year of reforms under the NEP, PM Shri @narendramodiwill address the nation," he tweeted.

As per Central Government’s latest announcement, the government is now planning on several initiatives in compliance with National Education Policy, NEP 2020 which includes offering various technical programs in regional languages.
In accordance with National Education Policy 2020, the central government will provide various technical courses in regional languages. This initiative is directed towards equal opportunities to students around the country.

Along with this initiative, the Ministry of Education will also set up a task for offering technical education in India in the mother tongue; the Hindi language. With this goal in mind, the Education Ministry will now offer B.Tech programs in the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) in the Hindi language.
The B.Tech program will be offered in the Hindi language to interested candidates in order to promote their mother tongue. The content, such as translated journals and textbooks will be made available for students in various colleges.
