December 07, 2020: Patna Private Schools have already started online admissions for the academic session 2021-22, in view of COVID-19 pandemic. Private schools are strengthening their online admission process to prevent long queues amid admission.
The online registration process for admission to Delhi Public School (DPS) has been closed today (Dec 07). Additionally, DPS has scheduled online interviews for both parents and children on December 15, 2020.

Additionally, Bishop Scott Group of Schools have uploaded seat vacancies on their official website. They have provisions for both online and offline mode of application, payment, and registration process.

Delhi Public School will send the admission results to selected candidates on their registered mobile number after the interview procedure.

Moreover, several missionary schools such as Loyola Montessori School and St Dominic Savio’s High School will begin their admission process from mid-December or January.
Patna Private Schools Admission 2021: Parents consider Shifting Children to Budget Schools
Several parents are considering shifting their wards in budget schools due to school’s pressure of paying high school fees amid their slashed income.
Brajesh Gupta, a businessman whose daughter studies in a private school based in Jaganpura, stated that he is compelled to pay high fees in the school. Additionally, he is forced to pay transportation fees of INR 2,700 without even availing facility.
He further added, “I am no longer in a position to bear the expense as the business is lean amid Covid-19. I am looking to shift her to a less expensive school.”

Ragini Sharma, a private employee, whose children studies in a private school based in Khagaul stated that she is considering shifting them to a budget school.
She said, “The school has been asking for full fees or face dismissal. Twice they have barred entry of my wards in online classes and exams over non-payment of fees.”
She further added that the schools have not reduced fees defying the state government’s order. Additionally, her income has been reduced to 50% since April with no hope of salary restoration.
She is worried about how she will manage paying transportation, development, laboratory and library fees along with tuition fee.
