According to the sources, the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) has asked the students to raise their grievances or objections against the released class 12th results 2021, if any, within August 11, 2021. The class 12th results 2021 for the science and commerce stream was released by CHSE on July 31,
The Odisha Board notified that the students will have the opportunity to raise their objections against the Odisha class 12th results 2021 before the higher secondary schools by August 11 and the schools will forward the objections to the CHSE by August 12, 2021.
As per the reports, the raised objections should be submitted along with the supporting documents attested by the principal in order to rectify the discrepancy on the answer script and award marks. Therefore, the schools are required to verify each objection before they're shared to the CHSE for rectification.

Owing to the pandemic covid-19 circumstances, the CHSE cancelled the board exams and the class 12th results 2021 were prepared based on the alternative evaluation criteria. With respect to the evaluation criteria, the students will be awarded marks based on their performance in previous classes. The passing percentage for this year was 95%.
Candidates who are not satisfied with Class 12 results can raise objections and appear for an offline exam, the date of which will soon be notified by the council. In 2020, around 3 lakh students appeared for the Odisha class 12th exams, in which a total of 70.21% candidates passed the science stream. In contrast, 74.95% of the class 12th students from commerce stream were declared pass.
