In the wake of the prevailing COVID-19 circumstances across the country, Odisha CHSE has officially cancelled Odisha Class 12th board exams 2021 in the state.
The state CM Naveen Patnaik ordered the cancellation of the Odisha Class 12th Board Exams 2021 for the academic year 2021. However, the evaluation criteria for the same will be announced later.
The Chief Minister tweeted the cancellation of the class 12th board exams 2021. He also added that the student's life is of more importance and priority than the exams. Therefore, the Odisha CHSE Board Class 12th Exam 2021 has been officially cancelled.
Soon after the high-profile meeting where the decision of cancelling CBSE Class 12th Board Exams 2021 was made, the state government of Odisha chaired a meeting to take a crucial decision regarding the class 12th board exams 2021.
However, the Council of Higher Secondary Education will shortly release an official notification on the cancellation of the Odisha class 12th board exams 2021 on its website: chseodisha.nic.in.
Earlier, the Odisha CM had postponed the Class 12 examination 2021 till further notice. However, the Centre’s decision on canceling the CBSE class 12 exams might have prompted the cancellation of the Odisha 12th Board Exam 2021.
Nearly 3.5 lakh students in Odisha were curiously waiting for the official announcement regarding the Class 12 Board Exams 2021. Now, the students are required to keep a track on the official website of CHSE for further notice on the cancellation of the Odisha 12th Board Exam 2021.
After CBSE, CISCE, even the Karnataka government announced the cancellation of the Karnataka II PUC exams 2021, today.
Several states across India including Gujarat, Haryana, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, have scrapped the class 12th board exams 2021 following the footsteps of CBSE. Other states like Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Assam, Telangana are yet to announce their final decision.
