NSDC Collaborates with DigiVidyapeeth to Create E-Curriculum for Skills Upgrade; Check Details Here


December 29, 2020: The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) has partnered with the online education portal DigiVidyapeeth for preparing an e-curriculum for the professionals and students.The online portal will include courses relating to digital media marketing and mobile journalism which will improve the skills of students and professionals.

The Media and Entertainment Skills Council (MESC), has taken the initiative to develop an online educational portal which will offer courses related to industrial requirements and serve Indian Journalism for current affairs.

MESC CEO, Mohit Soni said that the online portal will have diverse courses in the field of digital media marketing and mobile journalism which will sharpen their skills and train them in line with latest technological advances. The portal will also offer courses in other sectors as well gradually. He further added that the online portal will suffice to shape the career of youth.

DigiVidyapeeth, MD, Pradeep Khatri, guarantees that the portal will help students in post pandemic situations. The collaboration between the two aims to lift up Digital India Mission and Skill India Mission Launched by the government.

Indian Government has set up a target of skill development through MSEC to over 12 lakh people till 2022. But as of now, the skill development programs will only be achieved via digital means only.
