NIT Jalandhar Announces Modified B.Tech Curriculum, 6 Month Industry Oriented Training Added: Read Full Report Here


NIT Jalandhar B.Tech Curriculum 2021: NIT Jalandhar has modified the course curriculum of the B.Tech program for the new academic year. As per the new course curriculum, the institute has added six months of industry-oriented project-based training for all students. 

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jalandhar has made modifications in the B.Tech course curriculum in order to produce proficient graduates who excel in the industry. 

Referring to the B.Tech curriculum. NIT Jalandhar Director Prof. L K Awasthi stated that the initiative has been taken to encourage students to take part in the final year projects which will prepare them in their field.

He added that even though due to the coronavirus pandemic no activities can be conducted, the National Institute of Technology (NIT) has declared this year as a "Year of Innovation, IPR, and Technology Transfer". 

A six-month training program will be beneficial for both students, and for the industry as well, he stated. He further emphasized collaborative degree programs, professorial chairs sponsored by industries. 

The institute will also focus on the development of Research and Development Laboratories sponsored by industries at the Institute, he further added. 

NIT Jalandhar Courses, and Fees 2021

As of now, NIT Jalandhar offers over 12 different academic programs to students under the Department of Biotechnology, the Department of Physics, and the Department of Civil Engineering, among others. 

Earlier, on February 12, 2021, the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jalandhar and Government Millennium Polytechnic College had collaborated for the skill development of the students. 

The institute also offers students with various PG Diploma programs in domains like engineering, including chemical engineering, industrial engineering, thermal engineering, and design engineering.
