New Delhi: NIT Goa Placements 2022 were conducted recently for the outgoing B.Tech batch. According to which, a student bagged the highest annual pay package of INR 44 Lakhs from Amazon.
As per NIT Goa, this is the highest CTC ever offered to its students since its inception. The highest package offered so far was INR 20 LPA.
Earlier, this year, another student named Gaurav Yadav, was offered an annual package of INR 24 Lakhs by Capcount Solutions. This alone surpassed the earlier packages secured by the NIT Goa students.

To note, NIT Goa Placements 2022 recorded 100% recruitment for its B.Tech students of Electronics and Communications, Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering. While placement for B.Tech Mechanical Engineering stands at 80%.
Rohit Kartik, who received the highest package, is a student of B.Tech CSE at NIT Goa from Porvorim. He will be completing the degree in May, this year.
Amazon has provided him with the position of Software Developer. His placement will be based in any one of the metro cities in India.
“I am very happy. The faculty taught us very well. All the earlier students who had got the highest package so far at the institute guided me and so I knew I was on the right path. Dream big and work towards it. As long as you are consistent, no one can stop you”, asserted Kartik.
“The placement interview process was held online this year, yet we could receive such an offer for a student. This package is on par with those bagged by one of the older and bigger NITs”, Director Gopal Mugeraya, NIT Goa said in a statement.
Lalat Indu Giri, Chairman of the campus placement cell, further explained that despite the COVID 19 pandemic, this year NIT Goa attracted the highest number of companies to their placement drive.
