NIRF Management Ranking 2021 (Released) @nirfindia.org: IIM Ahmedabad Top Management Institute in Country; Check Rank List, Scores Here

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad has topped the NIRF Ranking 2021 for MBA institutes released by the Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today, September 9, 2021. Also, IIT Bombay has also secured the 10^th spot for the first time in NIRF Rankings.

This is the second time, IIM Ahmedabad has secured top position for the management institute category. Moreover, all the top three positions in the NIRF Ranking 2021, were occupied by IIMs with the second being IIM Bangalore, and third was the IIM Calcutta.

While IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta have retained their ranks in the top three spots, IIM Kozhikode and IIT Delhi have made a significant jump. Earlier, in the NIRF 2020 rankings, IIT Delhi secured 8th rank and now it has jumped to 5th position this year. Moreover, the institute obtained a second spot in engineering category after IIT Madras and in the research category, it secured the fourth spot.

Meanwhile, IIM Kozhikode obtained 6th rank in the NIRF Ranking 2020, which has now moved into 4th position in NIRF 2021 Rankings.

This year, IIT Bombay made an entry into the NIRF Ranking 2021 list of top 10 management institutes at 10th rank, replacing Management Development Institute in Gurugram, Haryana. Apart from IIT Bombay, the other contenders in the list of best colleges for an MBA remained the same even though some of the institute's ranks shifted up or down.

The rankings for all colleges and universities across the country have been done based on various parameters including teaching, learning, and resources; research and professional practice, graduation outcome; outreach and inclusivity; and peer perception.

IIT Madras has retained top spot in NIRF 2021 overall ranking, for the third year in a row. In Medical Category, AIIMS Delhi again clinched the top spot. While in the dental category, Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Udupi has been ranked best among dental colleges in the country.
