National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has announced the date sheet for Class 12 and Class 10 exams. This comes as a relief to many students who were anxiously waiting for information regarding their exams. Applicants can check the date sheet on the NIOS official site; nios.ac.in

The board exams for NIOS class 10 and class 12 students were previously supposed to be held in the month of October-November. However, it was delayed due to the spread of the Covid-19 virus and the ensuing lockdowns which rendered many students unable to move. The exams have now been rescheduled to January and February 2021.

As per the schedule released by the NIOS board, the exams for class 10 and class 12 students will start on January 22. The exam will go on till February 15, 2021. The practical exams for the students have been scheduled for the month of January. The exams will be conducted in the month of January from 14-25.

Previously the NIOS board had announced that the applicants who will be appearing for the class 12 and class 10 board exam need to register on the site. The students will also need to pay the requisite registration fee for appearing for the exam. The registration and fee payment process is completely online for this year.

Subsequently, the board will also release the admit card for the board exam. The applicants will be allowed to sit in the exam only after they show that they have a valid admit card. The NIOS board will release the admit card on the official website from where the students can download their admit cards.

The result for the NIOS class 10 and class 12 board exam will likely be released 6 weeks after the date of the last examination.
