According to the latest reports, National Institute of Open Learning (NIOS) has released the NIOS October Exam 2020 Date sheets.
NIOS will conduct the theoretical examinations from January 22 to February 15, 2021. The date sheet has been published for the All India Exam Centers and the Overseas Exam Centres.
Candidates appearing for the examinations can download the date sheets of the NIOS 10th and 12th examinations via the link available on the official website-nios.ac.in. Candidates can also check the datesheet of the NIOS via the direct link provided here.
Exams Delayed due to Pandemic
The date sheet announced today by NIOS is for the October 2020 review, which has been significantly delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and will now be held in January-February 2021. In line with this, the Board announced that practical examinations for Classes 10 and 12 will take place from 12 to 25 January 2021, followed by theoretical examinations from 22 January to 15 February 2021. Due to the pandemic situation, NIOS plans to hold small batches of practical exams for students with full adherence to the COVID-19 guidelines and SOPs. The detailed schedule of practical examinations will be decided by the laboratory coordinator in accordance with the capacity of each laboratory.

Result Likely in 6 Weeks
Although NIOS has not officially submitted any specific date or timeline for the October 2020 NIOS Exam Statement of Results, in line with the general trend, students can expect the results to be finalised within 6 weeks of completion of the exams. NIOS 10th and 12th Result 2020 will be published online on the official website i.e. nios.ac.in and will also be made available to accredited institutions. Upon publication of the Results, students will be provided a scorecard, a provisional certificate and a migration-cum-transfer certificate directly through their respective academic study centres.
