NIMHANS Entrance Exam 2020: Application Form for 2nd Session Released @nimhans.ac.in; Check Details Here


National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) has started registration for the 2nd session of the UG and PG NIMHANS entrance exam. Applicants who want to appear in the exam can register themselves online at the official website; nimhans.ac.in.

In addition to the registration for 2nd session, NIMHANS has also released the provisional selection list of the 1st session for UG and PG courses. The NIMHANS entrance exam is conducted twice a year for admissions to various courses in NIMHANS.

Admission to NIMHANs will be done only on the basis of the score achieved by the candidates in the online exam. Applicants should note that they will be required to upload the requisite documents during the time of application form. 

NIMHANS Entrance Exam 2020: How to Fill Application Form

Applicants can fill the application form of NIMHANS by following these steps.

Step 1: The form will be released on the official website of the institute; nimhans.ac.in

Step 2: Visit the site and fill the form as prescribed

Step 3: Upload your documents and your photographs as required

Step 4: Choose 3 test centers for the examination according to your preference

Step 5: Pay the application fee of INR 1000

Step 6: Submit your form and take its print out

Applicants should take note that they can apply for up to 3 courses. However, submission of multiple application forms is not allowed.

NIMHANS Entrance Exam 2020: Exam Pattern 

The NIMHANS exam will be conducted only through online mode. The paper is set in the Multiple Choice Questions format. Candidates should note that they will be given only 90 minutes to finish the exam.

NIMHANS Entrance Exam 2020: Tie-Breaking Criteria

The Institute will follow a set of tie-breaking criteria in case of a tie between 2 candidates. The following points will be considered when decided the rank of such candidates.

  • Candidates with higher attempts will be considered
  • The older candidate will be given preference
  • The applicant who has less number of wrong questions will be considered
