Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has collaborated with IIT Gandhinagar to offer Eklavya Series. Under this series, the board will showcase the effective implementation of NEP 2020 across various CBSE-affiliated schools.
Under this collaboration, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and IIT Gandhinagar will launch an interactive online educational program called Eklavya. The program will include various activities, projects, and models related to various topics.
CBSE and IIT Gandhinagar’s joint program "Eklavya" will also include various Do It Yourself or DIY projects videos which will help students in creating materials through local material available at home.
Referring to the initiative of CBSE and IIT Gandhinagar, the official notice reads, "After the unprecedented success of 3030 STEM (1Cr views, 5L subscribers), CBSE and IIT Gandhinagar are coming together with the Eklavya Series on this Teachers’ Day (5th September)"
"Implementing the vision set by NEP 2020 might, sometimes, seem intimidating for school teachers and administrators. This is the gap that CBSE and IITGN are trying to fill with Eklavya series: to Demystify NEP and showcase how to effectively implement NEP 2020 across the schools" the statement further reads.
Eklavya 2021 registration process for all interested and eligible candidates has begun from September 10, 2021. Applications who are interested in the program can register for the same free of cost.
CBSE Class 12 Board Improvement Exam Date Out
Students from grades 6th to 12th who wish to register for the program and learn about various concepts can now register online for the same at ccl.iitgn.ac.in/eklavya or cbseacademic.nic.in/eklavya.html.
Teachers who are interested in the same can also submit their applications on the official CBSE website.

As per the schedule of Eklavya 2021, the first session of the same will commence on September 26, 2021. The program will be held every Sunday for a duration of one hour; 4 pm to 5 pm.
During the first session of Eklavya 2021, the topic will be Neeraj Chopra and Newton’s laws of motion will be covered by the subject experts. The live episode will be released on the official Youtube channel of IITG; youtube.com/IITGNCLI.
Talking about the program, the Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE stated that the program content will cover topics from various levels and streams as well as from the course curriculum of class 6th to 12th.
Adding to the statement, the official statement said; “The program will also contain thought-provoking questions, assignments which promote out-of-box creative thinking like why Neeraj Chopra threw a javelin at 36 degrees."
