School of Archival Studies, National Archives of India (NAI), Janpath, New Delhi has opened admission for the short-term certificate program in Archives Management 2021.
The short-term certificate course at the National Archives of India is scheduled to commence from February 3, 2020, to March 19, 2020. The application process was started on December 3, 2020.
The last date to apply for the Archives Management certificate course at NAI is January 4, 2020.
The objective of the Archives Management course is to make the candidates aware of the acquisition, arrangement, upkeep, and retrieval of records.

NAI follows an online mode of application for the admission of Archives Management short term certification course.
Candidates could apply for the Archives Management course offered at NAI by following the steps mentioned below
Step 1: Visit the official website of NAI - @nationalarchives.nic.in
Step 2: Scroll down and select the ‘School of Archival Studies’ tab
Step 3: Click the link that reads “SHORT TERM CERTIFICATE COURSE IN “ARCHIVES MANAGEMENT”.
Step 4: Download the application form and take a printout of the application form
Step 5: Fill the application form in offline mode and provide the necessary information
Step 6: Attach the document needed (if required any)
Step 7: Application should be sent through post along with the attested copies of the educational qualification certificates.
Step 8: Application fee of INR 100 through crossed Indian Postal Orders/Bank Draft in favor of Administrative Officer, National Archives of India, Janpath, New Delhi-110001, should be sent to “The Director-General of Archives”, National Archives of India, Janpath, New Delhi-110001.

NAI Certificate Course 2021: Fees and Eligibility
The fee for the certificate course at NAI is INR 300 which should be paid at the time of admission and the fee is non-refundable.
Candidates below the age of 30 are eligible to apply for the Archives Management course offered at NAI for the academic session 2021.
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University and the selection criteria is completely merit-based and the marks secured by the candidates in the previous qualifying examination will be considered.
