Mumbai FYJC Admission 2020: Maharashtra Education Department will release the third merit list for admission of students to First Year Junior Colleges (FYJC) in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) on December 15, 2020, at 11 am.
After the 2nd Round of Mumbai FYJC Admission 2020, which was concluded on December 10, 2020, about 2.04 lakh general and quota seats across FYJC in Mumbai Metropolitan Region remain vacant.
Only 37% of students who were allotted provisional admission seats to First Year Junior Colleges (FYJC) in the second general round have confirmed their seats. Colleges stated that students might consider waiting for the 3rd round before zeroing down their allotted colleges.

The principal of South Mumbai College stated that students who have missed Mumbai FYJC Admission 2020 second cut-off to their desired college by a few marks might wait for the third list.
About 28,061 students confirmed their admissions, however, 76,231 students were allotted colleges in the Mumbai FYJC 2nd Round Admission 2020.
Moreover, Maharashtra Education Department has given permission to First Year Junior Colleges (FYJC) to commence their online classes.
Varsha Gaikwad, Maharashtra Education minister stated that the FYJC admission process has been conducting smoothly this year and Mumbai FYJC Admission 2020 will get completed soon.
She further added, “We are hoping that colleges start their classes online. Additionally, the Education Department has extended all the help by organizing online classes for students across the state through Maharashtra State Council for Educational Research and Training (MSCERT).”
