MRID, Vadodara Admission 2021: The application process for B.Des and M.Des programs have commenced at MRID, Vadodara. Interested students can fill the online application form on the official website of the institute.

Maharaja Ranjitsinh Gaekwad Institute of Design, Vadodara, Gujarat has started applications for admission to both B.Des (Bachelor of Design) and M.Des (Master in Design) Program for the academic session 2021-22. The deadline for applications is July 31, 2021.

MRID B.Des & M.Des Admissions 2021: Eligibility Criteria 

For B.Des Course:

• The applicant must have passed HSC (General or Science stream) from Gujarat Board or any other equivalent board, as a regular student with a minimum of 50 % aggregate marks. 
• All those students who have appeared in the HSC examination of Gujarat State HSC Education Board or any other equivalent examination in the current academic year. The student must be a regular student having English among the subjects and students waiting for final examination results can also apply.
• The admission shall be considered as provisional, till issuance of the Enrollment Certificate and will only get confirmed after approval by the appropriate authority of Maharaja Sayajirao University, Baroda.

For M.Des Course:

• The applicant must be a graduate in B.Des/ BVA/BA/B.Sc/BTech from any recognized University. Except for them, students having a diploma from reputed institutes like NID, NIFT, IIT or IICD as REGULAR students with a minimum of 50% of aggregate marks are also eligible for the master's program.

• The interested candidates can apply online through the official site http://www.mridbaroda.com/ after checking the eligibility criteria. The applications are to be submitted in online mode only and the candidates applying before the deadline for applications and satisfying all eligibility criteria are considered for admission.

MRID B.Des & M.Des Admissions 2021: Admission Process 

Admission to B.Des and M.Des courses at Maharaja Ranjitsinh Gaekwad Institute of Design, Vadodara shall be finalized on the basis of the Entrance Test performance of the applicants. The process will consist of Practical Test, a Written Test and a Personal Interview.

Practical Test: It would include different kinds of activities to find skills of students such as 3D Modeling Design Skills, Colour Skills and Drawing Skills.

Written Test: This written test would consist of Understanding of Visual Arts, Culture, English Language Proficiency and Design & Craft.
