MP Board Class 12 Exams 2021: The Chief Minister announced that the decision has been taken in view of the COVID situation.
Following the announcement by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for cancellation of CBSE Class 12 Board Exams due to the ongoing situation of COVID pandemic. Madhya Pradesh Board has also decided to cancel the 12th class state board exams.
Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister announced today that the state government has decided to cancel the MP board Class 12 Examination 2021. The decision has been finalised as a precautionary measure due to the current COVID situation.
Firstly, the MP Board Class 12 exams were scheduled from May 1 to May 21, 2021, which were later postponed in view of the surge in COVID cases across the state.
The state government had already canceled the MP board Class 10 examination 2021 in wake of the rising COVID cases,which was earlier scheduled to be conducted from April 30 to May 19, 2021.
On Tuesday,A high level meeting was chaired by the Prime Minister. After the meeting, PM Modi wrote on his official Twitter handle,"Government of India has decided to cancel the CBSE Class 12 Board Exams. After extensive consultations,we have taken a decision that is student-friendly,one that safeguards the health as well as the future of the youth."
