The students at MICA (formerly Mudra Institute of Communication) have created an official podcast called ‘MICAST’ for the institute.

The podcast emphasizes on conducting and managing events on campus, talks, seminars, interviews, etc. Various alumni, guest speakers, and MICA faculty comprise the panel of judges.

MICA has the objective of extending these events to social platforms and broadcast networks such as Apple Podcast, Spotify, Google, and more. This will help increase the accessibility and will open up the podcast to larger audiences.
The concept of the podcast kicked off after a lot of meticulous forethought and planning processes. Due to its well-organized publicity, it has gained popularity among students, alumni as well as industry professionals.
MICAS released in episodes, with each episode divided into two parts. The first part focuses on the domain, and the next part consists of professors in a rapid-fire round.
The podcast covers a wide array of topics that are globally applicable to people from all sections of society and all walks of life.
Among the issues discussed in the ongoing pandemic caused by the coronavirus and how it has impacted society in terms of economy as well as lifestyle.
The current series of podcasts were recorded and arranged by Nitpreet Chawla and Piyush Goswami, who are second-year students at the institute.
The podcast series comprises 6 stories in total. These are inclusive of several bits ranging from quotes, stories, opinions and conversations.
