MBSE Board Exam 2021: Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) has reduced the syllabus of Classes 10 and 12 by 30% citing shorter academic sessions.
Meanwhile, Mizoram state government has asked MBSE to prepare bridge courses for Classe 9-11 while State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) will be preparing them for Classes 1-8.
The state government has decided to reduce the syllabus of MBSE HSLC and HSSLC by 30% as students were not able to attend physical classes for the entire session due to the lockdown imposed for COVID-19 pandemic.
Mizoram government has also decided to keep all the schools in the state closed till the end of this year. As the transmission of Coronavirus is expected to aggravate in the winter season, Education Minister Lalchandama Ralte said, classes from kindergarten to 12th will remain suspended.

The state Education Minister also said, the schools are tentatively scheduled to open from January 15, 2021. However the state executive committee will take the final decision after evaluating the situation then.
The Mizoram State Education Department has also decided to continue with online classes till December 18, 2020 and resume further from January 5-14, 2021.
