Schools in Madhya Pradesh will remain closed till March 2021 for students of classes 1 to 8. No annual examination for these classes would be conducted. Instead, evaluation for students would be done on the basis of worksheets which will be provided to the students by the schools.
While the half-yearly evaluation for MP students would be done by the schools in the month of January, the annual assessment would be done in February and March.

The School Education Department tweeted, “Evaluation of students from class 1 to 8 in government schools in the state will be done on the basis of the worksheet. Commissioner State Education Center, Mr. Lokesh Kumar Jatav told that the worksheet will be given to children from Class 1 to 8.”
The MP state education board has also announced the guidelines while evaluating the half-yearly and annual assessments. Students of grades 1 and 2 will be provided with practice books with a worksheet by their respective schools. The worksheet would include questions in subjects like mathematics, Hindi, and English.
The worksheet of grade 3 to 8 students would have project works and skill-based questions. The space for answering the questions would be included in the worksheet itself.
As for class 10th and 12th students in MP, schools have been reopened from December 18. The schools conducted a parents-teachers meeting on the reopening day of reopening in which the upcoming board exams were discussed. Normal classes will resume from December 21, 2020.
