Lokpal of India Invites Internship Applications Offers for UG, PG Students; Details Here

Lokpal of India is all set to offer internship opportunities to the students of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. 

Candidates pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the field of Law, Political Science, Management, Economics, or Human Rights, Public Administration, and Public Policy, can apply for the Lokpal of India Internship Scheme 2021.

Lokpal of India has announced that it will accept a maximum of 4 candidates for its internship programme which will be for a minimum period of 6 weeks and a maximum period of 12 weeks as per application. 

Further, the candidates are required to indicate the desired duration of the internship in their application.

Lokpal of India Internship Programme 2021: Eligibility Criteria 

In order to apply for the Lokpal of India Internship Programme 2021, the interested candidates must fulfil the following eligibility requirements. 

• Applicants must have obtained a minimum of 75% or equivalent marks in Class 12.
• An undergraduate student must have completed a minimum of two years of study in the undergraduate course and they must have obtained an aggregate of 55% or equivalent marks. 
• Postgraduates must have qualified with an aggregate of 55% or equivalent in the graduation programme.

Lokpal of India Internship Programme 2021: How to apply? 

• Interested candidates can apply through their respective Institutes/Universities/colleges by filling out the application form. 

• The application form should be duly recommended by the HOD/Dean/Principal of the Institute of the candidate.

• The application should be enclosed with a summary of marks received in Class XII and graduation.

• Self-attested scanned copies of all the mark sheets should be attached with the application form. 

• A 500-word write-up should be enclosed along with the application form. 
• Candidates can choose any of the following topics: “Evil effects of corruption in society” or “measure to root out corruption in India’.
• Candidates' documents should be sent via email address to mkmishra@nic.in.

The application form should be duly recommended by the Head of the Department/ Dean/ Principal of the Institution and it should be received at least three months prior to the commencement date of the Lokpal of India internship programme. 

Candidates who will be shortlisted for the Lokpal of India Internship Scheme 2021 will receive a stipend of INR 10,000 per month on successful completion of the internship. Candidates are also required to submit a letter of recommendation (LOR) along with the application form. 

Lokpal of India will release the final list of selected interns on its official Lokpal of India website/notice board.
