The Directorate of General Education, DGE Kerala has started Kerala Plus One Admission 2021. A detailed prospectus mentioning the admission schedule has been released on its website, hscap.kerala.gov.in.

Accordingly, applications for the Kerala Plus One Admission 2021 will be accepted till September 3. Interested students can visit the official websites, hscap.kerala.gov.in or admission.dge.kerala.gov.in to apply now.

Kerala Board has begun the admission process for Class 11 in various educational institutions across the state. Owing to the Covid-19 pandemic circumstances, the admission process is being held online. Hence, the students need not go to schools physically to submit their documents. 

Kerala Plus One Admission 2021: Eligibility Criteria 

Interested candidates can go through the following eligibility criteria before applying for the Kerala Plus One Admission 2021.

• Should be citizen of India and must be domicile of Kerala.
• Passed class 10th or SSLC Examination with the govt. approved board.
• Secured cut off marks/grades to get admission in the Kerala State Govt. schools

Kerala Plus One Admission 2021 Eligibility Criteria 

Selection will be merit-based. Class 10th / SSLC will be considered for seat allotment. DHSE Kerala will not conduct any written examination / Entrance Test for the selection of students for Admissions in Govt. schools or Govt. Aided Schools of Kerala.

Kerala Plus One Admission 2021: How to Apply? 

• Visit the HSCAP Kerala website
• On the homepage, click on the Kerala Plus One Admission 2021 link available
• Now choose your district, and then the application form will be displayed
• Fill necessary details in the HSCAP +1 application form and attach the requisite documents and then pay the prescribed application fee
• Finally, verify all the details and submit it accordingly

Kerala Plus One Admission 2021: Documents Required for Application 

• Marksheet / Certificate of Class 10 or SSLC 
• Recent Passport size photograph. 
• For differently-abled candidates, a certificate from an approved medical board proving that the disability is not less than 1%, is mandatory.
• Must produce age limit exemption certificate issued by Director or Public Instruction. (Applicants must have completed 15 years of age by June 1 but not more than 20 years of age), those students who want age exemption. 
• Caste Certificate, if any to examine community reservation.
• Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Eligible Communities (SC/ST/OEC) 
• Must produce income certificate along with the caste certificate issued by Revenue authorities. 
• Information should be included in the Certificate of Eligibility, for Tamil and Kannada language minorities.
• For National Cadet Corps, NCC, certificate of attendance issued by NCC Directorate is mandatory.
• The Jawan Service Certificate should be produced to prove that the student is a dependent of the Jawan serving in the Army/Navy/Air Force, for candidates from the Forces background. 
• For points under NTSE, certificates issued by authorities for extra-curricular activities and co-curricular activities should be shown as proof.

It has been notified that the Kerala Plus One Admission 2021 will be held in two parts. The first one is the main allotment and the second one is the supplementary allotment. The latter will be conducted to fill the vacancies that are left out, once the main allotment of Kerala Plus One Admission 2021 concludes.
