As per the latest update, Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan has called upon Vice-Chancellors to analyze the implementations and work of National Education Policy 2020 in the state.
Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan is said to work on challenges faced in implementing National Education Policy 2020, and to work towards taking Kerala's Higher Education to new heights, added the official statement release.
During the two day online meeting reading the implementation of National Education Policy 2020, the Kerala Governor added that there is a need for inter university collaboration as well knowledge sharing between the state universities.

He added that universities need to focus on strengthening the research and innovation, as well as on collaborations between the universities.
"The world is changing at a lightning pace, with groundbreaking technologies turning obsolete overnight. In such a scenario our approach should be proactive and imaginative, guided by the motto of invention, innovation and improvement," he said.
Kerala Governor further requested the VCs to take actions to enhance the academic quality in the states, as well as strengthen the internal administration. The conference was moderated by Dr. Davendra Kumar Dhodawat, Principal Secretary to Governor.
In the meeting held, the Vice-chancellors reported the leads taken by the various chancellors for implementing the education policy in the state to the Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan.

Vice-chancellors further briefed about various initiatives in interdisciplinary studies, Digitally enabled Teaching, development of Learning Management systems, Credit transfer, etc.
Earlier, Hon'ble Governor and Chancellor Shri Arif Mohammed Khan called upon the state universities in regards to secure and develop a system for the conduction of online examinations.
During the meeting, he added that universities need to add more online classes for university students. “Most of the universities have already developed examination software capable of handling tabulation, hall ticket generation, preparation of results, and issue of mark lists”.
“I feel that online examination features can be easily incorporated into this facility, with in-house technical skill and technical expertise in other universities”, he said.
