Karnataka SSLC and PUC Exams Not to be Held in March 2021; Read Details Here


Karnataka SSLC and PUC 2021: Karnataka’s Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar announced that Exams for Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) and Pre University Course (PUC) will be postponed and not held in March 2021.

On December 22, 2020, S Suresh Kumar declared that due to the pandemic situation and shortage of time, the Karnataka SSLC and PUC exams will not be held in March 2021.

Since the nationwide lockdown has been imposed, online teaching has tried to maintain the standard. 10th and 12th board exams are a very important part of a student's education and need more time to prepare for the exams.

The Department of Education is making preparations to reopen the Karnataka schools and colleges keeping in mind that all Covid-19 precautions are followed.

Moreover, the revised timetable for both Karnataka SSLC and PUC exams 2021 will be released within a week. The datesheet will include the consultation of schools and teachers’ associations as well.

Lastly, the Karnataka schools will be reopened for class 6 onwards from January 1, 2021 with all the SOPs issued by the central and state government.
